Edwardian Age

The Edwardian era enjoyed a nostalgia moment in the seventies. The word "dude, originally popularised in the Edwardian age (etymology here) attained its present-day popularity in the seventies. See also Roxy Music, Country Life: the magazine is mentioned in Return of the Soldier....

Likewise, In Search of Blandings on course reserve.

Hello professor. I really liked the clip and seeing how they decorated!

This is unrelated, but my book (sorrows of satan) finally came in the mail today, but I noticed that tomorrow's class is our last lecture on the book. I do not feel we discussed the book in depth so I was wondering if next class is really going to be our last class on it and start the new book on monday, or extend our discussion on sorrows of satan.

Thank you! Hope snow is not going to be horrible on us tomorrow-!

Dear Ann: we'll still be engaging with Corelli this coming Monday. Snow? Here? No way!
